Study On The Yuan Liaofan's Thoughts Of Good And Evil

Under the deep impact of the globalization and the transformation period of traditional cultural modernization,culture has a diversity of development trends in China.The cultures of various countries and nations intersect and merge with one another,which forms mutual agitation among different cultures and affects people's moral values.It is not a controversial objective facts that present living environment and the times bring about the conflict for people's moral values.How to set up the correct values of good and evil and outlook for honor and dishonor,and enrich Chinese moral values,which is one of the important problems that China urgently needs to solve.Yuan Liaofan who was the first a non-anonymous author of morality book in China,had a profound influence in the Ming dynasty.He has a rich and unique life experience.By teasing out the thoughts of good and evil from Yuan Liaofan's works,this article analyzes the historical background and theoretical origin of Yuan Liaofan's thoughts of good and evil.From the aspects of politics,economy,culture,society and Yuan Liaofan's life experience,to analyse the origin,formation and development of Yuan Liaofan's thoughts of good and evil.Then,to summarize the main contents and basic characteristics of Yuan Liaofan's thoughts of good and evil through literature research,dialectical analysis and historical analysis.Those are the original source of good and evil,the discrimination between good and evil,the ways to eliminate the evil,and the methods doing good deeds.Three major features are “religious integration of Confucian,Buddhism,and Taoism”?“the internal and external cultivation and the unity of knowledge and action” and the characteristics of a positive outlook on life,which is “i master my fate and seek my blessing.”Through the above research,the fourth chapter mainly elaborates the historical value of Yuan Liaofan's thoughts of good and evil,and explores it's practical significance,and last analyzes the shortcomings of Yuan Liaofan's thoughts of good and evil.To help people better understand,dialectic inherit and develop Yuan Liaofans' s thoughts of good and evil,improve the social convention and enhance personal moral cultivation.This article tries to provide some reference of ideological theory and moral practice on promoting the transformation of Chinese excellent traditional modernization and strengthening its soft power and elevating Chinese moral realm nowadays.
