Explore The Root Causes Of Good And Evil From The View Of Social Evolution

Just as G ? E ? Moore said, with all the difficulties on the ethics controversy because of its basic concepts- "Good and Evil" can not be clearly understood. So, this paper attempts to explore the origins of good and evil based on modern scientific ideas on the evolution of human society from the point of view.The first part examines the concept of good and evil. By analyzing and summarizing the evolution of good and evil, I find good and evil having five characters---- social value, emotional experience, motivated, and variability of return,in which social value is the most fundamental nature.The second part I describes and demonstrates "evolution is the root of good and evil" thought. Good and evil is the representation of the human behaviors and the society’s interests, and one of the most fundamental interests of a society is the existence of this society, the social evolution is one of the means that a society maintains the existence of itself, therefore, the evolution of social good and evil determines the standards of a society.The third part introduces two enlightenment from the thought "evolution is the root of good and evil". That ethical behavior is not good and evil itself and role can regulate good and evil.The last part of the paper I summary all viewpoints and comb the derivation process of "Evolution is the source of good and evil".
