The Land Abatement And Rural Land Right Order Of Longyuan Village,in The Period Of The Republic Of China

Longyuan village is located in the western suburbs of Kunming city,Yunnan province,it's a typical suburban rural area in southwest China.During the period of the Republic of China,under the background of the central government's implementation of the land reform,the Yunnan provincial finance department also organized a wide area of the land to clean up the land and to check the farmland.As a reform pilot,the village directly experienced the process of the land clearing and responded in its own way.The museum in Yunnan province has a collection of folk contract documents about the land issues of the village,which reflects the daily land transactions and the labor situation of the villagers in Longyuan village in the late Qing dynasty and the republic of China.The archival materials of the finance department of the Republic of China in Yunnan province recorded the related cadastral arrangement,the reform of land tax and the administrative details of the government.This paper studies during the period of the republic of China in Kunming,Yunnan province,county land surveying process on the basis of the combination of historical site of field survey,through the analysis of Longyuan Village land contract documents and information about the land surveying license,discusses how to develop and implement a land reform policy,and how to make their different folk,reveals the national land reform and the interaction between civil society,as well as order changes before and after the land surveying Longyuan Village land ownership.This paper argues that:Longyuan Village after the province's land surveying,license as pipe credentials,effect in rural land sales,but the deal still retains some of the traditional village land ownership.For the government,the cultivated land area and farmland income of Kunming County have been increased by means of cadastral arrangement.However,from the perspective of the village,the original land right order was still maintained to a great extent,and the attempt of the government of the Republic of China to fully control the rural land was not realized.
