| The thesis focuses on the 2016 Spring Festival Gala's sketch programs from the perspective of critical discourse analysis.Based on Ruth Wodak's Discourse-historical Approach and Halliday's Functional Grammar,the thesis has a systematic case analysis to the sketch programs of the 2016 Spring Festival Gala in the hope of finding that the programs is a mean and channel to reflect and inherit “the Chinese Dream”.The analyzed data of the thesis are the three sketches and one crosstalk in the 2016 Spring Festival Gala,because their scripts are in accordance with the theme and tunes of the Gala.Based on this criterion,the thesis studies these data so as to find the relation between the chosen materials and the transmission of “the Chinese Dream”.The research findings can be summed up in the following two aspects: first,the discourses in the Spring Festival Gala does not only bring the audience laughter and create a happy atmosphere,but also include the national ideology and the mainstream thought as well as the inheritance and embodiment of “the Chinese Dream” compared with other cultural and entertainment feasts.Therefore,the CCTV Spring Festival Gala is not only a culture-heritage program,celebrating the happiness and laughter of the new spring,but also one for the inheritance of socialist ideology,politics and ideology.Second,CCTV Spring Festival Gala not only states and transmits the ideology,but also calls for the action of realizing “the Chinese Dream”.The significance of this study is to connect the public's popular language programs in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala with the themes as well as tunes they advocate.It intends to transfer the thoughts of “the Chinese Dream” to the public and call on the masses to work hard together to realize it. |
