An Intertextuality Study Of Zhang Ailing's Novels

The theory of intertextuality induces and reveals a widely existing and complex literary phenomenon,which reveals the basis of literature and culture in the process of showing the intertextuality between texts.It is meaningful to excavate and interpret the works in the intertextual relationship.As a "legend" in the history of Chinese literature,Zhang Ailing has received extensive attention and research since he entered the literary world.However,previous scholars have mainly adapted their works from the aspects of artistic effects,narrative language,and works.The female narration and the author's life story are studied,and most of them take the individual text as the reading object,and lack of in-depth analysis and discussion.In this paper,the intertextuality This paper combines sex theory with Zhang Ailing's works,selects several representative novels of Zhang Ailing,uses text reading method,inductive summarization method and comparative reading method,mainly analyzes the specific types and reasons of intertextuality of Zhang Ailing novels.The paper is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction.It introduces the origin and changes of intertextuality theory,and sorts out the research situation of Zhang Ailing in recent decades,and expounds the significance of this thesis.The second part is the main part of the paper,which is divided into four chapters.The first and second chapters mainly analyze the self-text intertextuality of Zhang Ailing's novels,and interpret Zhang Ailing's works from the aspects of character image,story plot,theme,music,color and space image in the novel.This paper analyzes the referential involvement,narrative function and expressive meaning of its text.The third chapter is the analysis of other texts in Zhang Ailing's novels.This paper mainly analyzes the intertextuals between Zhang Ailing's novels and A Dream of Red Mansions and the intertextuals with Maugham's works.The fourth chapter is to analyze the main reasons for the intertextuality of Zhang Ailing works,from the four aspects of Zhang Ailing's personal life course,the social environment of life,the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture and the influence of accepted foreign literature.This paper analyzes the causes of Zhang Ailing's works arising from textual intertextuality and other textual intertextuality.The last part is the conclusion,summing up the main contents of the paper.
