Romanesca Style And Modern Double Bass Technique Play

The graduation project of my graduation recital has the combination of solo,chamber music and concerto work.The program consists of music from the Baroque,Classical,Romantic and Modern periods.Through the different styles of music,I aim to demonstrate various techniques playing and the music style from different period of time.By studying "Green-sleeves",it make me learned the harmonies,tonalities and historical background of "Romanesca" music style,and understand better of the "Green-sleeves" and how to perform it.At the beginning of prepare my recital,Professor Hou has helped me with repertoire selections,practice,rehearsal,by the end of in the preparation I have already come up with my own idea what how to interpret the works of musical style and how to solve some problems.
