Ethnomusicology research aims to explore and interpret the intrinsic relationship between music,national culture and social life,and focus on the emergence,change and innovation of music in the corresponding cultural perspective.In line with the concept of this discipline,this article researches and interprets a unique music phenomenon "Ah Xiu",which is called “the sound memory of Lisu People in Fugong County,Nujiang Prefecture,based on field investigation as the author being a member of the county's Literary Corps.The paper includes the Introduction and 3 Chapters.The introduction overviews the selection of the topic,the literature review,the feasibility and the theoretical significance of the topic.Chapter 1.This paper introduces and describes the survival soil and regional characteristics of the Lisu nationality "Ah Xiu" in Fugong County of Nujiang River.The second chapter traces and analyzes the social vicissitude course of "Ah Xiu" from three important periods: natural inheritance,competition with Christian music,and protection and innovation under the new era.Chapter 3 places "Ah Xiu" in a three-dimensional platform of history,society and individual,linking its vicissitude course organically with a new communicating platform--Fugong County Ethnic Culture Work Team and the outstanding music works of inheriting artist Che Siheng,and discusses comprehensively the inheritance and innovation of the music culture of Fugong Lisu nationality.From the perspective of the research of national musicology,this paper tries to examine the cultural connotation of "Ah Xiu",hoping to provide a vivid case sample for the discipline of national music.
