An Interpreting Report On The Bulgarian Pianist In 2017 China Lanzhou International Piano Festival

Cultural and art exchanges have been the bond of promoting the progress of human civilization.With increasingly growing cultural and art exchanges,the number of interpretation work is increasing.However,the material and the references of translation in these fields are rare,especially,some particular subjects.The report on “2017 China Lanzhou International Piano Festival” would discuss that the author met with some problems in the interpretation of the piano art and put forward the corresponding solutions.In the report,the author described the whole process of interpreting.At the initial stage,the author prepared the relevant terms,pianist's background,knowledge of Lanzhou characteristics,and analyzed the difficulties the author would encounter,in particular,the professional piano knowledge.Taking one piano master class as an example,the author analyzed its interpretation text.According to its features,the author used the interpretive theory as the guideline and focused on each stage of the interpretive theory to analyse the problems in interpreting.At the perceive stage,the misinterpretation and omission would be caused by lack of professional knowledge and short term memory.At the comprehensive stage,the author used the body language and her own understanding to assist the interpretation.In the expressive stage,the author used the some translation techniques such as amplification,omission,and discourse shift,which can guarantee the accuracy message,professionalism,and easily to be understood.In the end,by participating in this festival,the author clarify the role of interpreter.When the translation connects with other subjects,the ability to learn quickly is the basic quality to be an interpreter,and the subjects' professionalism would directly reflect the translation professionalism.The author hopes to provide the effective references and research materials for the future researchers by recording this activities.
