The Research On The Ideological And Political Education Function Of The Cultural Resources In WuXi Steles Forest

The culture about the forest of steles is not only a national culture with characteristics of the Chinese nation but also the inheritance and development of the Chinese national spirit.As a cultural resource,the forest of steles is of great value in terms of history,education,culture and tourism.So,introducing the cultural resources about the forest of steles to the category of ideological and political pedagogy is conducive to expanding the study vision of the ideological and political education.Wuxi Forest of Steles,the largest open-air forest of steles in China,is one of the provincial-level scenic spots and bases of the patriotic education,which is full of many masterpieces of inscriptions with historical,cultural,educational,tourism,aesthetic values and culture.Mainly with the features of landscapes of the steles forest and the calligraphy culture,the scenic spot enjoys the excellent red culture as well as the honest and clean government culture.As a whole,Wuxi Forest of Steles has every reason to be regarded as a superbly new cultural resource and an epitome of the comprehensive local culture with a combination of education,appreciation,tourism,science and research.With four unique characters,including culture,art,rareness and education,it also plays a significant part in boosting the ideological and political education.Premised on the knowledge of the link between cultural resources as well as ideological and political education,their functional morphology,based on extensive fieldwork about functions of the ideological and political education in cultural resources,this paper focuses on the culture resources about Wuxi Forest of Steles,its characteristics,values,further analyzes main problems and reasons of educational functions in cultural resources about Wuxi Forest of Steles,in order to find a new way and method to make the aforementioned functions better.As the basis of the ideological and political education,its educational function serves as an external embodilment and concentrated expression of its essences and contributes to its development.The paper focuses on the study of functions about the ideological and political education,including the function of political-guiding that serves for whole political environment of the nation,emotion-encouraging that inspires inner emotions of people,morality-enlightening that instructs moral atmosphere in the society,ulture-inheriting that keeps advantages instead of disadvantages and leans the culture about the forest of steles further,aesthetic-cultivating that makes learners and travelers get a kind of spiritual enjoyment,economy-developing that contributes to its related business.Based on the analysis of the current ideologically and politically educational functions of Wuxi Forest of Steles,four approaches are explored in the paper to enhance the functions,i.e.strengthening the protection and construction,reinforcing the development and study,reforming the educational modes,and promoting the cultural tourism of Wuxi Forest of Steles.Until now,the applied and theoretical studies on cultural resources about ideologically and politically educational functions of Wuxi Forest of Steles are still in a preliminary stage,fail to show their adventages.With the help of the development of ideological and political education practical activities,the improvement of the theoretical and practical abilities of more and more professors in this field,the study of it will be better and better in the future.
