Lin Hwai-Min is a representative of modern Taiwanese dance that shines on the international stage and is also one of the spokespersons for Taiwanese culture.His dance creation process has gone through three stages of history:beginning,maturity,and peak period.Combining the modern social contexts of Taiwan and China,it is not difficult to find that with the advent of global globalization at the beginning of the 20th century,it was immersed by the culture of the United States and modern dance was nurtured and developed in China.Then Mr.Lin borrowed the art of modern dance.Style,and the integration of the national classic literature and opera performed dance creation;in the 1980s,Taiwan’s society was completely martial and social problems emerged in an endless stream.Mr.Lin ’s works also showed concern for historical and social issues.After the 1990s,along with the development of socio-political economy and the intensification of globalization,Mr.Lin dance has joined Tai Chi and other physical training methods in the process of seeking his own cultural orientation.This style of oriental dance spirit makes Mr.Lin become an internationally renowned modern model.Dance director,its leading Cloud Gate dance set also successfully entered the international arena.From the aspect of dance theme,the theme of Mr.Lin ’s dance concept reflects the background of his literary profession.On the one hand,his dance works have delaminated the history of the sealing of the real world,displayed ethnic features,and called for a sense of historical identity.On the other hand,its dance works inspired the national spirit,used story reappearance techniques,and triggered the audience’s aesthetic imagination through the dance picture.In his exploration of life,life,and society,Mr.Lin uses abstract vocabulary to paint his world of dance.Artistic conception-like composition images emanate oriental aesthetics from reality and reality,triggering philosophical thinking about time,life,and life.From the aspect of dance’s artistic language analys.is,Mr.Lin ’s dance has a unique charm of Oriental traditional aesthetics.It is embodied in three aspects:the source of the movement art form,the choice of music,and the dance composition.Mr.Lin is good at capturing the traditional Chinese art styles of Beijing Opera and Martial Arts Tai Chi,and then integrating Martha Graham Martha’s modern dance techniques.In terms of music selection,the theme of dance is expressed in a variety of.ways.Absorption principle.Traditional accompaniment,sacrificial music,South Fujian language songs,or natural music,environmental sounds and other atonal music have become Mr.Lin’s choices in music.In the aspect of dance composition,the use of innovative scheduling trends and the spectacle of stage composition make the dance images have a strong visual impact and appeal.Even though Mr.Lin is a native of Taiwan Province,his cultural perspective has a wide range of features and pluralism.Therefore,his dance works contain a pluralistic view of cultural perspectives,showing the most localized Chinese culture and Taiwanese culture also reflect the complex cultural patterns that have absorbed the other culture.His dance works show the concept of traditional Chinese aesthetics,the use of "qi"in Tai Chi culture,the beauty of white space in traditional aesthetics,and the concept of artistic conception outside of the image.All of them reflect the influence of the traditional aesthetic ideas of’ the nation on the subtle influence of Chinese literature and art workers.The use of calligraphy and traditional sacrificial ceremonies also reflected Mr.Lin’s strong national cultural awareness as a choreographer.In Mr.Lin dance works,East and West culture intermingle,taking the Western modern art as the base,with the pluralistic Oriental art as collage.
