The appearance of Tian Qinxin, will undoubtedly inje ct new strength for the China contemporary drama. As China contemporary the most powerful and infl uential national theatre director and the only female d irector, her works have strong visual impact and high drama aesthetic value, with the world famous, Chinese c lassical themes and contemporary sociaissues, expand new direction Chinese contemporary drama of modern art con cepts and the combination of Oriental aesthetics.Having a unique style in drama-writin g, Tian Qinxin is a rare figure who cannot be ignored or bypassed in contemporary China. But academic circle s pay little attention to her and her works, especiall y the study on the aesthetic value of her works. Base d on the original text of her dramas and their corres ponding presentations on stage, this article takes her latest works Red Rose and White Rose, Four Generations under One Roof and Green Snake as samples, to resear ch the aesthetic value of her drama from the perspecti ves of the modern western art concepts and east orient al aesthetic characteristics, and finally bring further thinking and enlightenment on cultural exchange and inhe ritance,fusion and innovation in collision of contempor ary Chinese drama.“Red rose and white rose” is adapted from Eileen Cha ng’s novel of the same name, is a contemporary interpr etation of the original novel, which gives it the cont emporary perspective.On the 111’s birthday of Laoshe, “four generations”,Tian Qinxin,the screenwriter and director, has debut in the Taipei Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall in 2010, which made a record of a mainland drama Taiwan debut in taiwan.Drama “snake” is adapted from the Hongkong writer Li Bihua’s novel of the same name, but it is different from the novel calm ghosts strokes. It is also diff erent from the novels as manifestations of snake erotic theme, but give the snake a brighter image and explo re the way out for its lust. These three works embody the aesthetic style of Tian Qinxin’s Drama,which combi ne the concept of modern western art and oriental aest hetics with the expression of Chinese stage. In the ma terial society, who went into the theatre of Tian Qinxin can find a secular and isolated space,sense th e independent art spirit and feel the fusion expression of drama in Chinese and Western aesthetic form. In t he key moment of China’s contemporary drama, how to r ealize the internationalization of China drama, how to find the way out of the contemporary drama? Tian Qinxi n’s spirit of drama and aesthetics is worthy of praise and reference.
