| The teaching of the conjunction has always been a very important part in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Although some foreign students have reached a level of proficiency in the Chinese language, the expressed sentences lack logic and coherence. The main reason is that they can’t use Chinese conjunctions skillfully. The cause-effect conjunction accounts for a large proportion of Chinese conjunctions and are also a type of conjunction used by foreign students. In addition, the author finds that there have been relatively few studies on cause-effect conjunctions in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the past. Therefore, the author chose to study causal conjunctions as a subcategory, hoping to make some contributions to the lack of research on causal conjunctions. This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter analyzes and explains the research status of the cause-effect conjunction in modern Chinese and related issues of the cause-effect conjunction in teaching Chinese. The second chapter mainly summarizes the textual cohesion theory and the cause-effect conjunction. The third chapter uses examples of the cause-effect conjunction from the 2001-2014 Chinese language undergraduate practice report of the Korean students at Liaoning University and the BCC Chinese corpus of the Institute of Language Education. And through error analysis, corpus analysis, comparative analysis, etc.,using textual cohesion theory, error analysis theory, and acquisition theory to analyze the use cases of Korean students’ conjunctions, summing up the types of errors and the causes of errors. Finally obtaining the difficulty level, acquisition order and difficulties of the cause-effect conjunction. The fourth chapter mainly proposes the teaching strategies of the cause-effect conjunction based on textual cohesion theory and the results of previous chapters. The fifth chapter,at last, based on the textual cohesion theory, this paper attempts to design targeted teaching of the cause-effect conjunction in order to focus on the difficulties of Korean students’ cause-effect conjunction acquisition. It is hoped that this study can provide useful reference for future Korean students’ learning of causal conjunctions and teachers’ teaching. |
