Practice Report On The Cooperation Project With "Easy Trans" Of IFLYTEK

With the increasingly close international exchanges and against the background of globalization,the market demand for interpretation has been increasing,and gradually becoming an indispensable and important part of cross-border trade and cultural exchanges.With the increasing diversity of people’s needs and the advancement of science and technology,machine translation came into being and formed a perfect complement to human translation.Under t his circumstance and with personal experience as a manager of the interpreting project,the author made this paper which explains the whole cooperative interpretation project between “Chongdongfanfan” and IFLYTEK Ltd.in detail in order of preliminary preparation,the mid-term practice and the follow-up.The cooperation mode is the company where the author stay is responsible for providing online interpreters for the IFYTEK translation machine to satisfy the diversified market demand.As the person in charge of the translation project,the author put forward relevant strategies in the translation management process at each stage according to the project management knowledge.The process mainly includes three stages: in the preparation stage,the author tries to learn about the translation machine and interpretation market,simulates interpreting scenes in order to develop management plans;in the interpretation stage,the author makes reasonable arrangements for interpreters,understands customer needs and assign tasks accordingly,prepares the emergency response mechanisms and real-time monitoring of each interpreting process;after the interpretation,the author gets feedback from customers in time,makes monthly assessment of interpreters,and accumulates experiences and improves services promptly.
