On November 20,1937,the Nationalist Government issued the “Declaration of the National Government in Chongqing” in Wuhan.From then on,Chongqing officially assumed the responsibility of China's wartime capital.It was a remote and unfamiliar inland city that became the rear of the Chinese Anti-Japanese War.The political,military,economic,and cultural centers.During this period,a large number of art institutions and artistic elites moved in.The art groups formed after the mushrooming.Art activities such as art exhibitions and bazaars frequently appeared in the eyes of the people.Chongqing Fine Arts was greatly developed during this period.In this paper,through combing analysis of 104 paintings of Chongqing themes during the period of the Accompanying Capital,in the three major descriptive contents of natural scenery,livelihood,and anti-Japanese war scene,the content of the works,the formal language,artistic thoughts and the social impact brought about by Discuss scrutiny and combine historical materials as circumstantial evidence.Finally,it is concluded that the Chongqing subject paintings during the period of the capital of the capital had the regional characteristics of Chongqing's unique scenery,climate,and humanistic atmosphere;the content of the anti-war era themes appeared in the era;in the selection of “innovation” or “conservation” of the painting ideological dispute,the final choice of reality The epochality of ideological concepts embodied in ideological paintings;and the coexistence of aesthetic attributes and historic attributes of works.
