The sense of belonging to a school refers to the emotion that students feel and are accepted and willing to integrate into during their interaction with their school. This is an important factor that affects students' academic and mental health. The dormitory is a major living place for students, and research has proven that a good accommodation experience can help to raise the level of school belonging among students.Xinjiang is a gathering place for ethnic minorities in our country. The ratio of people from Han to Xinjiang, which is composed of students in Xinjiang, has become increasingly mixed. Therefore, since 2014,schools in Xinjiang have been gradually implementing the accommodation of people and the people. However, due to the universal emphasis on unity education in minority areas, the implicit attitudes of students to the accommodation of the people and the people are more objective than explicit attitude. Therefore, this study intends to explore the implicit attitudes of both Chinese and Han students towards accommodation, and attempts to improve their accommodation attitude through group counseling in order to achieve the intervention of school sense of belonging, with a view to providing mental health education in schools in ethnic areas Some reference. The study used the experimental group and the control group before and after the test design:First, using the SCL-90 scale stratified randomly selected 240 students were screened,no obvious psychological disorders were selected and the interpersonal sensitivity factor reached a certain score was Try a total of 40,and ensure that all participants were from different quarters;then the subjects were assigned to the experimental group and the control group, each of 20 people, and ensure that each group, the proportion of men and women equal;then, within reaction time test the attitude of the two groups were tested together, while using the scale to measure school belonging;again, the experimental group started a month of group counseling(once a week); Finally, the two groups of subjects completed the post-test.The reaction time tests used in the study were self-compiled,including tests of positive attitudes and negative attitudes respectively. The school-belonging scale used was revised by Hong Kong scholar Cheung & Hui and included dimensions of belonging and resistance. The collected data using SPSS22.0 software analysis, the results are as follows:(1)After the group counseling, the response of the experimental group to the positive attitude of accommodation was significantly lower than that before the intervention, and the response ofthe experimental group to the positive attitude of accommodation was significantly lower than that of the control group.(2)After the group counseling, the score and total score of the sense of belonging of the experimental group was significantly higher than that before the intervention. The score and the total score of the sense of belonging of the experimental group were significantly higher than that of the control group.(3)A positive attitude of accommodation can predict the sense of belonging and the overall school belonging.Through the analysis and discussion of the results, the results of the research basically confirm the hypothesis that group counseling improves students 'positive attitude towards accommodation, while positive attitude toward accommodation enhances students' sense of belonging.
