In recent years,the development of China's art market has grown by leaps and bounds,and it has become an important part of the world art market,which has enabled the academic community to focus the research on the value of art on the economic value of art.At present,domestic studies on the economic value of works of art mostly adopt the characteristic value method,taking market value a s the “cause” and the value represented by each feature of the work of art as “result”,equating the value of the work of art with its price.Ignoring the cultural significance and connotation of the artwork itself,the research on the cultural value of ar tworks is relatively inadequate.This paper uses value theory to deeply analyze the cultural value of artworks through a step-by-step split method.The cultural value of an artwork has the attributes of the subject and the object.Hard to quantify,one-way attachment,and continuous change are the basic characteristics of the cultural value of an artwork.The cultural value function of works of art is mainly reflected in the ability to help people conduct aesthetics,knowledge,and communication.The cultural value of artworks is divided into two tiers: material cultural value and spiritual cultural value.The cultural value shown by the production tools,labor objects,and labor techniques of art objects is the cultural value of the material level;the cultural values of the artistic spirit level are mainly reflected in moral influence,aesthetic paradigm,and humanistic emotion.The production of cultural values of works of art must have certain conditions,including objective conditions such as the artist's labor's condensation in artworks,subjective conditions such as the artist's own artistic labor ability.The process of cultural value creation of a work of art is a psychological process.It must go through two stages: the stimulating consciousness of t he objective world is transformed into the first stage,and the material transformation work is the second stage.The generation of cultural values of works of art is determined by the number of times and depth of the artist's own practice and the artist's artistic ability.The core of the work is the artist's own quality.The key to improving the amount of cultural value generated by artworks is art education.The cultural value of works of art is realized in the process of the effective dissemination and interaction of the material form of the artwork and the cultural elements it carries.On the one hand,the audience's cognition and interpretation of artworks has led to the interpretation of cultural values in the field of culture and the increase in valu e in the cultural field;on the other hand,the cultural value of artworks is also transformed into economic value in the economic market.
