A Study On The Acceptance Of Wudaozi's Paintings In The Song Dynasty

On the basis of the excellent painting tradition of the Han and Jin Dynasties,Wu Daozi pushed the Chinese figure painting into a peak period,which had a profound influence on the Tang Dynasty and the later generations.Later generations constantly accepted and interpreted Wu Daozi's paintings,and produced different understanding and artistic ideas in the process of reception and interpretation.The discrepancy in communication and acceptance in different periods is actually the manifestation of differences in attitude and artistic conception of Wu Daozi in different periods and different strata.The acceptance of Wu Daozi's paintings in Song Dynasty mainly includes two aspects: painting creation and comment.In the painting creation,in the early Northern Song Dynasty,under the influence of the painting style of the Tang Dynasty,there was no lack of a master of painting the murals.A large number of painters of "learning Wu" and "special Wu" appeared.In the deliberate imitation of many painters,the acceptance of Wu Daozi's painting gradually became patterned.In the face of this maladies,more and more painters and literati began to find a new way outside the art of "painting works" in the middle and late Northern Song Dynasty,so the artists of "Wu" and "Wu" appeared to change the content and form of painting.Therefore,the acceptance of Wu Daozi's painting has undergone a great change.This change also deeply affected the acceptance of Wu Daozi's painting by later generations,from the late Northern Song Dynasty to the Southern Song Dynasty,and the song people attacked the painter Li Gonglin of "the change of Wu",and the acceptance of Wu Daozi's painting gradually subsided.Influenced by different views of art,Song people disagreed with Wu Daozi's paintings.The song people under the influence of "orthodox" art view regarded Wu Daozi's painting as a paragon and respected it.Under the infiltration of the artistic concept of "scholar painting",scholars represented by Su Shi,Mi Fei and Deng Chun advocated the evaluation standard of literati consciousness,denoified Wu Daozi painting and his sent painting,and influenced the aesthetic taste of the whole painting world,which made a great impact on the legitimacy of Wu Daozi's painting.It can be seen from the creation and evaluation that the acceptance of Wu Daozi in the two Song Dynasty is gradually declining,and the changes in the focus of the theme of painting,the impact of the standard of literary criticism,the transfer of the political center and the break of the inheritance chain of Wu Daozi's painting are the main reasons for this state.
