On the occasion of China’s reform and opening up 40 years,the society of our country presents a new aspect.In order to adapt to the requirements of the new era,seeking scientific approach and means of cultivate values is a challenge in the field of education.One of the important issues is to find out what factors influence the undergraduates’ values and influence mechanisms,so as to better guide them.At present,the major problems of the research on the influence mechanism of college students’ values are more speculative research,little empirical research,more sporadic research and less systematic research.On the basis of literature review and theoretical analysis,study 1 is to design an initial questionnaire for the "The Initial Questionnaire of the College Students’ Value Influencing Factors Questionnaire" by interviewing 30 undergraduates from different majors,different birthplace,and different grades in comprehensive and professional universities.Next,the initial questionnaire was tested and improved by issuing 200 questionnaires in comprehensive and vocational universities,179 questionnaires were valid after the filtering.Project analysis and exploratory factor analysis were used to eliminate topics that did not accord with the statistical criteria,finally accomplishing "University Student Value Influencing Factors Questionnaire".To issue 1400 questionnaires in Henan,Beijing,Shanxi,Yunnan,and Xinjiang,and 1254 valid questionnaires were retrieved.Project analysis and exploratory factor analysis were carried out on 627 odd questionnaires.Finally,a total of 34 questions including 7 elements were obtained.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested by the internal consistency coefficient,the correlation analysis between the various dimensions and the total score,and the confirmatory factor analysis and the common method deviation test of the 627 half and half questionnaires.The results of Study 1 showed that "University Student Value Influencing Factors Questionnaire" had a good construct validity and reliability.There is no common method bias,so the questionnaire can be used as a tool to examine the influencing factors of college students’ values.The factors that affect the values of college students are: school,family,culture,self-awareness,emotion,personality factors,individual cognition,individual will,and social model.Study 2 is to issue 1400 questionnaires on the "Chinese People’s Values Questionnaire" and "University Student Value Influencing Factors Questionnaire" compiled in Henan,Beijing,Shanxi,Yunnan,Xinjiang,etc,1254 valid questionnaires of which were retrieved,to research the influence mechanism of college students’ values through multiple regression analysis and path analysis.The results show that in the model of college students’ values influencing mechanism,each factor directly affect college students’ values.For example,the social model directly affect the family-first,character self-discipline,law compliance,etc.;it also has indirect effect,such as individual will directly affect public interest through social model.Social model have the greatest influence among the impact of values,followed by school,family,culture,emotion,personality factors,self-consciousness,individual will and individual cognition.In the process of cultivating the correct values of university students,although the influencing factors that play a direct role are extremely important,the indirect influence factors also play an important role in terms of the impact nature.The external influence factors are only after the college students enter the heart and enter the brain,digest and absorb,realize their own value in the social existence,completely follow a certain concept and choose value based on it,and have reasonable reason for their own material and spiritual.Judgment and pursuit can correctly understand the development laws of objective things,have correct self-awareness,and achieve the mutual integration of emotional emotions and individual wills,and improve the individual’s personality so that self-realization can be achieved with the correct value orientation.Therefore,according to the framework of this study,through the empirical research on the impact mechanism of the values of college students,combined with relevant theories in pedagogy and psychology,we can deepen the rational understanding of the value influence mechanism of college students,so as to guide the education of the college students’ values from empirical to scientific. |
