The naive,as a kind of beauty model,promoted by scholars and artists,widely applied to art field,in the field of literary criticism also attaches great importance,and become an important aesthetic category of Chinese aesthetics.The simple category has experienced a long history in ancient China,and its connotation has been continuously enriched.The paper divides into three chapters to explore the development of naive category in ancient China.The first chapter traces the origin of the naive category.From the Pre-Qin Taoist temple,it was first used to discuss the aesthetics of Su,Pu or plain,and then to the Pre-Qin Confucianism to discuss the relationship between the literati and the simple meaning contained in the Zhouyi.In Pre-Qin period of the naive also contained the philosophy of the obvious,this time the naive did not form a complete system of aesthetics,even just stay on the ideological level,it is only Confucianism two home to interpret their own theories in order to realize the social ideal tool.The second chapter is about the development of the naive category in the history of ancient Chinese aesthetics.The Wei,Jin,southern and northern dynasties advocated "to act as an anti-element",Tao Yuanming advocated the capricious nature,and in their poems and writing,the naive expression was the natural style.Wen-hsin-diao-long inherited the Pre-Qin Confucian about discuss the relation of language and of the Zhouyi Ben divination ",from the perspective of literary creation affection and resigned two enriched the connotation of the naive,advocates stressing emotional truth and language is moderately embellishments in writing.During the Tang and Song dynasties,the discussion of Su Shi was most prominent.From the perspective of the writer's psychology and the characteristics of the works,the "24 poems" has enriched the connotation of simplicity.SuShi advocated the simple and simple wind of "the most splendid of all".The critics in the Ming and Qing dynasties argued that simplicity should be combined with the writer's artistic sensibility,rhyme and law.The third chapter summarizes the connotation of naive category and discusses its aesthetic value.From the perspective of poetry writing,the connotation of the simplecategory includes three aspects: emotional sincerity,indifferent language and natural grammar.On the aesthetic value,the naive not only has important influence on ancient Chinese literary creation,it also affected the ancient Chinese arts and crafts area,in painting,drama,porcelain play its important role,at the same time the naive also reflected the reserved national character of the Chinese nation.
