The category of “Xian” is rich in the beauty of life in ancient of China. No matter from the subjective theoretical, cognitive, aesthetic or objective practicality,it is full of the interaction between nature and human beings. In a sense,Chinese classical category is essentially a kind of beauty. In the construction and fullness of this kind of beauty,“Xian”as a subcategory, undoubtedly plays a key role.Different from the Western way of thinking, which pays attention to the classification of organization,Chinese classical category has symbiosis and continuous transcendence at the beginning, and constructs the Chinese cultural characteristics which are consistent with the real life perception and the literati's spiritual temperament. Therefore,it has a very distinct aesthetic quality of life.Influenced by word formation and etymology, the ancients took "wood in the door","from the door, from the moon" as the source of “Xian”.The category of “Xian” has the same root and structure with people's life consciousness, moral cultivation, spiritual civilization and daily life.Linked with history,Confucianism and Taoism in the pre-Qin period began to face and simplify life from moral and spiritual aspects;Aestheticians at home and abroad also perceived the meaning of leisure from their respective aesthetic theories and artistic views. In the Wei Jin Southern and Northern dynasties, when the political system, social norms and the order of rites and music collapsed, especially under the double-layer influence of "the awakening of the human " and "self-conscious of literature ",they entered the field of literati's aesthetic consciousness in the form of “Xian”,bringing new changes in the traditional sense of literary and artistic concepts and creative psychology.“Xian” and aesthetic life form a positive interactive relationship, which has become a subject of practical significance and theoretical value.“Xian”,as an aesthetic category of non entity,is attached to ancient works, taking root and growing in philosophy, aesthetics, literary theory, art and other fields. With the aesthetic expression of “Xian” of ancient literati and the aesthetic attitude of the general public, the aesthetic features of text and humanistic philosophy are more and more shown. The pattern of“Xian” in ancient aesthetics mainly focuses on three categories of “Xian-Qing ”,“Xian-Shi”and “Xian-Qu”.It has formed a series of category sequences which contain each other and have rich connotation and extension value. The category of Chinese classical aesthetics has the characteristics of inheritance, polysemy, mutual infiltration and integrity. As a “Xian” withlife breath,it involves aesthetics ontology, epistemology, even art creation theory, inheritance of natural spirit and innovation methodology of related categories, which constitutes one of the connotations of highlighting national wisdom in aesthetics tradition and becomes the focus of people's reflection and attention. This paper consists of three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The first part is the introduction, which focuses on the background of the category of leisure, its development characteristics and domestic research status. This paper summarizes the research ideas and methods, using aesthetics, comparative analysis and many other methods to explore the understanding of the beauty of leisure in different periods. In order to further clarify the practical value of "leisure" category evolution history, this paper discusses the research significance through the relevant interpretation of "leisure" by contemporary scholars and the aesthetic connotation of Chinese humanistic spirit. The main body is divided into four chapters. The first chapter examines the historical elaboration of “Xian”.It discusses the origin and development of leisure, the understanding of“Xian” by Confucianism and Taoism, the interpretation of leisure life by Chinese and Western aestheticians, the interpretation of Chinese classical aesthetics, the differences between Chinese and Western cognition, and the relationship between human and life. The second chapter mainly analyzes the aesthetic psychology of “Xian” category-“Xian-Qing”,from the meaning of “Qing” to the meaning of “Xian-Qing”.From the establishment of people's aesthetic consciousness,Liu Xie's aesthetic theory of "entering and prospering, valuing leisure ",the connection with "emptiness and Quietness" and “Nourishing Qi”,to the expression of aesthetic mind, this paper analyzes the category of "leisure" and the Chinese aesthetic spirit, including its aesthetic art practice and aesthetic art communication. In the third chapter, through the interpretation of “Xian-Shi” as the aesthetic form of“Xian”,the author simply sums up the meaning of “Xian” from “Xian-Xin” to “Xian-Ju”,“Xian-You” and so on.Combined with the origin of “Xian” poetry, its realistic and diversified specific expression and characteristics, the author tries to find the positive role of the beauty of Chinese classical poetry in it.The fourth chapter is the aesthetic attitude of “Xian”,which is the return of aesthetic interest as the specific expression of secular aesthetic sentiment and life, and finally forms the foundation of personality ideal with the aesthetic activities of literati, and makes a summary and induction. The last part summarizes the whole thesis and expounds the contemporary significance of the category of “Xian”.This paper deals with “Xian” from the perspective of humanismphilosophy and sociology, analyzes the development of contemporary “Xian” culture in the East and the west through the introduction of relevant contents of life aesthetics, grasps the penetration point of the discourse system of contemporary Chinese aesthetic category, and further improves the possibility of expanding the research of classical aesthetics to modern transformation.
