A Study Of Althusser's Ideology Theory In Two Views

"Ideology",as a domain involving philosophy,political science and sociology,has drawn extensive attention since the launch of the French revolutionary philosopher Tracy.Many ideologists have carried out in-depth ideological studies since then.Research,so that ideology shows a pluralistic connotation.Louis Althusser(1918-1990),as an influential philosopher in the contemporary French ideology,proceeded from the standpoint of “defending Marx” and absorbed the structural methodology of reference.He made a unique interpretation of Marxism and created a Unique ideological theory construction.Althusser's exploration of ideological issues has undergone a tortuous process.His theoretical results are mainly found in the two works in the previous issue of "Defending Marx" and the later "National Machine of Ideology and Ideology." Looking at these two books,we see that the focus of their thinking on ideological issues is different.Specifically,in the earlier period,Althusser focused on the study of the true and false issues of ideology and the operational mechanisms of ideology itself;In the later period,Althusser shifted his research perspective to the socialist reality of capitalism,thinking more about the relationship between ideology and social and political structure,and focusing on exploring the practical functions of ideology.The author believes that Althusser's change in the horizon of research reflects the diversification and in-depth study of ideological issues.If we say,Althusser was to make a strict distinction between ideology and science from the perspective of epistemology and make people recognize it.To clarify the structure and nature of ideology,then in the later period,Althusser analyzed the class and instrumental characteristics of ideology serving the ruling class more from the perspective of ontology.It can be seen that epistemology and ontology are two important perspectives of Althusser's ideological study.They coexist in its ideology theory,reflecting the deepening and development of Althusser's understanding.This article aims to follow Althusser's research ideas.Based on the in-depth excavation of related works and data,he studies Althusser's ideological theory from the theoretical and practical dimensions.First,it introduces the ideological origin of Althusser's ideology theory in detail,and analyzes the influence of Marx,Lacan,and Gramsci's ideological theory on it;Secondly,combs the ideological theory of Althusser as a whole.Connotation,in turn,introduces the relationship between ideology and science,the characteristics of ideology,and the function of ideology.Third,it focuses on the analysis of Althusser's specific operational mechanism of ideology in the two perspectives of epistemology and ontology.Finally,the objectivity of Althusser's ideology theory is evaluated based on two perspectives,and its theoretical contribution and limitations are analyzed dialectically.
