The existential sentence is a kind of common sentence in language.In any language,it needs to express the existential state.However,different languages have different expression ways and thinking modes.On the basis of previous researches,this research applies the method of Three-dimensional grammar,the methods of comparison,and the method of combining description and interpretation to make a contrastive analysis on the existential sentences of the Zhuang and Thai language.The Zhuang language and the Thai language are relative language,which have profound historical origin.most of the existing researches have not put the Zhuang language and the Thai language together and researched their similarities and differences in existential sentences.There is still a blank in the contrastive research on the existential sentences in the Zhuang and Thai language.Thus,this thesis holds that it is significant to conduct the contrastive research on the existential sentences in the Zhuang language and the Thai language.At first,this thesis reviews the current research situation on the existential sentences in the Zhuang and Thai language.Then,it defines the definition and scope of the existential sentences,and then conducts a comparison to the existential sentences of the Zhuang and Thai language from the aspects of syntactics,semantics,and pragmatics respectively,and analyzes their similarities and differences.Finally,it summarizes the main opinions of the previous contents.Through the comparison,we can better observe the similarities and differences of the existential sentence between the Zhuang language and the Thai language from different perspectives and find out their linguistic characteristics.
