Jiang Jingjian was a non-renowned writer and translator in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.He also acted as a reporter and a magazine editor.This article starts from his literary works and clarifies the specific literary works created by Jiang Jingjian as much as possible,and supplements more based on the predecessors' descriptions,so as to comprehensively comb his literary creation.Under the formation and influence of his view of literature,he probes into the features of Jiang Jingjian's literary creation: the “new” in style and the “change”in narrative mode.Finally,the author will explore the contributions and influences of Jiang Jingjian's creation concept on the transformation of Chinese modern novels.This article consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction mainly sorts out the research results of the literary history and the fiction history in the late Qing Dynasty and the early period of the Republic of China,especially the study of the novel history.Therefore,the research significance and research ideas of this paper are obtained.The body part consists of four chapters:The first chapter discusses the time context and personal choice of Jiang Jingjian's literary creation.This paper mainly analyzes the change of the novel concept of Jiang Jingjian's era from the literary history of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China: that is the position of the novel is explored from the “Xiao Dao” to the “Da Dao”.The creation changed from drawing on Western literatures to fusing Chinese and Western literature.Under the literary background of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,the author focused on Jiang Jingjian's choice in the aspect of the literary creation,and pointed out that Jiang Jingjian transformed from newspaperreporter to a professional literary scholar,and how Jiang Jingjian pursued the “new”and new concept of his own literature under the influence of the times “Change”.The second chapter discusses the “new” of Jiang Jingjian's literary creation and theme types.First of all,from the three aspects of space scenes,object representations,and character setting,the “new” label in Jiang Jingjian's literary creation is sought;secondly,the “new” of the subject is further explored from the text as a whole,and the“new” of the text is highlighted in four new themes: Promote the “new” proposition of feminism,that is,freedom and equality;the “new” color of the heroine of chivalrous woman,namely,liberation and revolution;the “new”creation of dramatic theatrical realism,namely absurdity and ugliness;and the new scenes of technology which are fantasy and jealousy.The third chapter discusses the “change” of the narration model of Jiang Jingjian's literary creation,mainly explores the transformation of the narrative model in Jiang Jingjjian's novels from the inner,and analyzes them from the transformation of the version,the breaking of the narrative time and the weakening of the plot structure.Chapter four discusses the contribution of Jiang Jingjian's literary creation to the transformation of modern Chinese literature.The last chapter mainly examines the literary creations of Jiang Jingjian from a diachronic perspective.Standing at the height of a literary history,it can be found that Jiang Jingjian's literary creation closely follows the trend of the times and echoes the creative purpose of the “new novel” in the fictional revolution.It also fits the development process of modern fiction,and it can be said that Jiang Jingjian's literary creation has some certain significances.On the basis of the full text,the epilogue summarizes Jiang Jingjian's literary creation again,and puts forward the deficiencies of this article.
