As an important member of the Gong'an Genre, Jiang Yingke has close relationship with Yuan Hongdao, leader of the Genre and played a very big role in generation and development of this very literary school. Not only did he put forward the core idea of "Self-expression and free literary technique" after discussion and cooperation with Yuan Hongdao, but also he independently advanced some valuable literary theories such as "Lively dominance theme", "Satya (Truthfulness)" and "Breezy style of literature" etc., through which he composed voluminous poems and essays. Jiang was a person of significant position among members of Gong'an Genre even the literary circle of Late Ming Dynasty who didn't arouse enough attention for a variety of reasons, though. Through research on the life story, literary travails and creations, the writer of this thesis hereof probed into his vital role among Gong'an School members and positive significance in literature innovation of Late Ming Dynasty.
