The Study Of Recitation Activities And Its Commercialization In Xiamen Island

Recitation is a significant type of activity of various performances in Xiamen Island,and it has a long history of development in the main area of the island.However,a stable commercial market was not shown in the development process of recitation activities in Xiamen.Although government departments of Siming and Huli District and the Xiamen University hold all kinds of recitation activities every year,the degree of commercialization of recitation activities still lies in a low level.In addition,"The Xiamen City Recitation Festival" had been held more than ten years,but we cannot find any scholar or institution has paid any attention on recitation activities investigation from deep-rooted.On the basis of field works,questionnaire survey and other methods,I took 2015-2016 as an example to research of Xiamen Island's reading activities.Combined with literature,case analysis and model analysis,the commercialization of recitation activities in Xiamen Island can be clearfied.The significance of my research is not only to predict and provide policy recommendations for the commercial prospect of recitation activities in Xiamen Island,but also to fill the gaps of the study about recitation activities through my research results.I think the recitation performance in the main area of the island has the potential to go to a step further in the field of commercialization after analyzing the aesthetic value of recitation and some successful marketing cases of recitation activities.What I have to suggest is that the mainly breakthrough in the recitation activities'commercialization lies into the recitation training industry and small recitation clubs through the data and model analysis.The questionnaire data shows that the group of recitation lovers in the island with higher educated or higher-income have not been paid focus to in the past.This small groups of people should be treated as an important part of the commercialization of recitation activities in the island.We should stimulate their excitment in recitation activities through promoting the transformation of their personal roles;we should guide these groups of people to participate in the process of commercialization of recitation activities.Finally the paper draws policy recommendations through the analysis of similar cases in other areas of Xiamen and the development of Xiamen Recitation Society:to achieve the popularization of the commercialization of recitation activities in the mainland of Xiamen Island,the fundamental significance of a commercial industry association cannot be neglected.We can use the functions of internal supervision and external communication of the association to promote the commercialization of recitation activities in the mainland of the Xiamen Island.
