| Longquan lotiform celadon bowls collected by Sichuan Songci Museum,for the typical exteriors and ornaments,are regarded as one of the most important assortments among Longquan celadon vessels of the middle and late Nansong Dynasty.This essay mainly studies these lotiform bowls from Suining Kiln,47 in number,and tries to present systematic compilation and analysis about the works.Based on the sorting and analysis on the published references about the lotiform bowls and comparison with the lotiform bowls from Longquan Yaokou Kiln,this essay involves aesthetics and practicability,exterior and emblazonry,cameo and engraving,joints and the variety in shapes,as well as its glaze and fluxion in high heat,and tries to sort out the art features of the lotiform bowls from Suining Kiln,such as the combination of its exterior and emblazonry,the unique bas-relief decoration by Tidi and Kexian skills,as well as the mix of Lujin and glaucous glaze. |
