Wen Zhengming is the leader of the Wu-Men Painting School in the Ming Dynasty and one of the outstanding artists in the history of Chinese painting.At the same time he is also a great calligrapher,poet and scholar.He and his contemporaries Shen Zhou,Tang Yin,Chou Ying are collectively called "the Four Ming Family," and with Xu Zhenqing,Zhu Yunming,and Tang Yin are called "the four talented people in the central Wu".It can be said that he has an irreplaceable position in the history of art in the mid-Ming Dynasty.He is also a key figure in this field.This article attempts to interpret Wen Zhengming's landscape art.From the perspective of " amateur " and " Professional",this article studies his inheritance,choice and development to the predecessors' art.To explore the artistic way of his "unity of interest" and the attitude of learning and the influence on the later humanistic painting,and the inspiration to the contemporary painting.
