The Composing Characteristic Of《(?)》Concerto For Sheng And Orchestra

This treatise focus on analysing ?u for Sheng composed by Unsuk Chin in 2009.The thesis preliminarily explore the composing technique in the concerto by systematically analysing various methods used in processing pitch organization,music form,instrument utilization and timbrel distribution.The text will unfold using analysis with graphical and analytical examples.4 chapters would be present below:chapter 1 is about the background of ?u including the instrument introduction and the aesthetic tendency given by the title.Chapter 2 focus on composing techniques that was used in it.Chapter 3 is about utilization of instrument.Starting from the developing and variation of sheng in each part,an in-depth introduction and analysis in multi-dimension will be presented.Chapter 4 is aiming on orchestration and texture of orchestra part,which will conclude and summarize the timbrel using method used in the whole concerto.
