The Jiajing period was an important period in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,during which time millions of porcelain were made.During the Jiajing period,porcelains were made in a variety of types and styles.The glazes colour was gorgeous with rich patterns and styles.It was extremely characteristic of the period.Based on the detailed materials,this thesis takes the porcelain of Jiajing Period in the Ming Dynasty as the research theme,and discusses and studies the following aspects.It discusses and studies this special theme from the following aspects.In the first part,the aesthetic style of the porcelain of Jiajing period in Ming Dynasty was greatly influenced by Ming Shizong.Therefore,this part first introduced the political environment of Jiajing period and personal life experience of Jiajing Emperor from the aspect of literature.The utensils of the official kiln not only retain the sentiments of the previous generation but also reflect the personal aesthetics.In the second part,the article focused on the ornamentations,patterns,and colors of the utensils during the Jiajing period.In order to deeply explore the religious beliefs,folk culture and historical heritage factors behind the utensils about their aesthetic style.In the third part,the aesthetic style of utensils was generally secular in the Jiajing period in the Ming Dynasty.Ming Shizong’s aesthetic concept pursues “Life” and “Shou” and has a strong Taoist belief;the rise of popular culture in the Ming Dynasty made the artistic features of porcelain ornaments appear simplification and secularization;The decline of the official kiln management system led to the influx of official kiln porcelain into the folk society,so that the folk technology has been improved.The monopoly of the official ornamentation appeared on the subjects’ collections,and the aesthetics of the folk kilns exhibited new features.
