Investigation And Research On The Status Of The Piano Examination

The Piano Examination activities have been organized in China for 30 years,which have made great progress.The concern from those music educators for the social music education and the lead of Organization Managers in the Piano Examination market promote the basic piano education's flourishing development.The Piano Examination is loved and welcomed by many music learners.The Piano Examination activities play an important role in the basic piano education.It is a standard for testing students' periodic exercises.It also helps promote the spread of outstanding piano culture and improve the national musicianship.The continuous development of the Piano Examination activities has become a social phenomenon that integrates politics,economy and culture.Lots of music educators focus on how to create a kind of Piano Examination with Chinese characteristics which combine the outstanding Chinese piano music,excellent traditional Chinese culture and music exams.The four chapters of this paper sort out the history of the Piano Examination and demonstrate the results of interviews and questionnaires towards the main groups who participate in the Piano Examinations.The important position of Chinese piano works in the social Piano Examination is also been discussed in this paper.The author hopes to integrate excellent traditional Chinese culture to the Piano Examination activities by putting forward reasonable opinions on the Piano Examination activities after organizing the materials and analyzing the various links in the Piano Examination activities.The author hopes that more piano players and educators will have a deeper understanding of the Piano Examination activities and help to create social music activities with Chinese characteristics,which will be helpful to make the Piano Examination more and more Chinese characteristic.
