The origin of the mainstream film can be traced back to the "tribute film" in1959.After being promoted to "main ideological",the "tribute film" mainly includes the following concepts: patriotism,heroism,rationalism and collectivism.The "main ideological" of the past is parallel: a line commemorates great people and moments of history.The other line is like Jiao Yulu or Leifeng,which is a great example to hold the firm belief.In February 1987,the national conference on feature film creation was held in Beijing,film bureau for the first time put forward the slogan of "outstanding theme,insist on diversification",and a film about "main ideological" was appeared.During these three decades,China's economy was booming;great changes took place in Chinese society;China's movies were on the road of the reform and opening-up,which achieved remarkable results and produced some new problems as well.During the period,the mainstream films were also developed,but they were still mixed.Happily,mainstream films had the authority of narration,which was the image expression of the national history.Sorrow was that movie industrialization impacted mainstream movies,changed of psychology and aesthetic of viewing audiences(facing the main ideological movies still maintained a distance)and the transformation of the concept of mainstream movie creator,in the actual process of thematic development,many creators did not fit well to the patriotism,heroism and rationalism and collectivism and thoughts,and didn't use good narrative theory to combine the actual conditions of the mainstream movies,but had distorted the idea behind the era of reform;The film was still full of untested concepts and cramming,and it had finally reached the point where no innovation was not enough to survive in the past few years.Therefore,how to combine the market audience,system and culture,give consideration to its artistic and product nature more seriously and more calmly is the difficult problem of narration.In this dissertation,"trilogy of Jianguo" series as the research object,under the guidance of narratology,film narrative theories,combines with quantitative and qualitative methods.This dissertation researches narrations of The Founding of A Republic,Beginning of the Great Revival and The Founding of An Army,especially researches its narrative perspectives,narrative timeliness and narrative mode.Study found that the narrative perspective is unified,but suspense was less.The narrative timeliness of "trilogy of Jianguo" has wraparound time span,also has succinct and fluenttime sequence,The Founding of An Army is superior to The Founding of A Republic and Beginning of the Great Revival about organization of time.The Clip of The Founding of A Republic and Beginning of the Great Revival is too much,The Founding of An Army is full of tension about narrative timeliness narrative mode.In the end,this dissertation comes out with some strategies.The narration of main mainstream film can not only maintain a unified perspective,but also add suspense;pay attention to the length of the narrative time,elaborate the organization of marking of the fictional time;build a humanist and interesting narrative structure and other Suggestions.
