The place name is the "living fossil" of human history and the mirror of national culture.The place name contains rich language phenomenon and profound cultural connotation.Three Rivers,located in Hebei Province,the capital of Shijiazhuang city northeast 315 km,located in the east Gate of Beijing,west of the Chaobai River and Tongzhou across the south and Xianghe,Baochi,big manufacturers adjacent to the city to the main plains,unique humanistic feelings to shape the Three Rivers distinctive names.This paper,from the perspective of linguistics,uses the theories and methods of sociolinguistics to investigate the language and culture of Three Rivers place names,enriching the research contents of Three Rivers names in the field of linguistics.This article takes the 395 villages in the Three Rivers 10 townships as the research object,unifies the local local county,the gazetteers,the geographical records and so on the related material to carry on the systematic statistics and the analysis to the Three Rivers place name,strives for the data to rely on the omni-directional,the multi-level display Three Rivers place name Panorama.This article is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is the introduction part,from the geographical outline,the historical evolution and so on aspect introduced the Three Rivers the basic situation and to the present toponymy related research summary as well as this article topic reason,the topic selection significance,the research content,the research object,the corpus source,the thesis research method and the thought has made the elaborationThe second chapter discusses the linguistic structure of Three Rivers place names from three aspects of the syllable composition,word composition and rhetoric of Three Rivers place names,and obtains that the syllables of Three Rivers place names are mainly three syllables,the way of formation is mainly the partial positive type structure,and the widespread use of rhetoric lattice.Chapter Three concretely explores the relationship between Three Rivers place name and its social culture.It is analyzed from four aspects,namely: Three Rivers place name and geographical culture,Three Rivers Place and history culture,Three Rivers place name and national psychology culture,Three Rivers place name and military culture.Through the analysis of the culture of Three Rivers place names,this chapter explores the geography,history and culture of Three Rivers,and further expounds the deep social and cultural connotations of Three Rivers place names.the fourth chapter is the conclusion,summarizes the research conclusion of this paper.
