The Chinese Complex In Chen Yingzhen’s Novels

Historical and social experience of Taiwan has led to strong nostalgia since one hundred years ago.From the beginning of modern literature,a literary motif of "national-state imagination" becomes the exploration of mind which intelligentsia always pursue.In the Taiwan contemporary literary field,Chen Yingzhen,the flag character of local literary narration and the left Unificationist of identity of Chinese nation,wrote novels about the Chinese complex which inherit the modern literature of Taiwan national narrative tradition.This paper tries to introduce Chen and his novels in the perspective of "Chinese complex" into three parts.What’s more,the parer explores the inheritance and development of Chen Yingzhen for the national narrative motif,multiply creatives vision analysis of patriotism as the core ideas and creatives source writers.The first chapter introduces the nation-state tradition of Taiwan contemporary literary briefly,to show that "Chinese complex" as the embodiment of the Taiwan literary writing topic in the long-term perspective is not only intelligentsia’s strong anti imperialist spirit but also ideological awakening of Taiwan’s identity consciousness.Besides,the paper finds the origin nation-state consciousness.The second chapter examines Chen Yingzhen’s novels which express multiple predicaments of Taiwan compatriots’ "national-state imagination".Multiple consciousness of the writers in discrete writing reflect the feeling of homesickness and homeless wandering of the people of Taiwan,which leads to abnormal development of observing social economy too dependent on foreign investment caused by alienation of hidden dangers,and changes in the development of long-term reflection of Taiwan history due to ethnic conflicts.The third chapter explores Chen Yingzhen Chinese position based on the identity construction.The theme and artistic treatment of his novels always reveal the writer’s persistent China complex.The writer stands at the height of the thirdworld,adheres to the creation with left-wing progressive ideas of nationalism and anti imperialist literature;historical narrative objective and realistic to clean up the complex social history of Taiwan after the war the false history,criticized the separatists’ "splittism".In short,this paper attempts to explore from the literary imagination and subjectival exploration of nation-state the literary,the multiple difficulties of "national-state imagination",and identity consrtuction of Chinese descendant to research Chen Yingzhen’s "Chinese complex".The paper starts writing from "Why","What" and "How" to explore the ideological core of Chen Yingzhen strong Chinese nation based on the identity of novels.
