Cultural teaching and language teaching relate to each other closely and inseparably in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Cultural words is an important part of cultural teaching.Teaching materials are the foundation of teaching,which are not only the links of teacher and student but also specific representation of teaching ideas.In order to develop teaching of cultural words better,it is necessary to make full use of teaching materials.However,there is little research which combines cultural words and integrated course of Chinese as a foreign language at present,and specialized research about contrastive study of cultural words of two sets of teaching materials in early level and intermediate level is less.This paper selects the early and intermediate level of“Developing Chinese" and four volumes of "Integrated Course" as research object to study cultural words in the glossary of two teaching materials.Firstly,the paper briefly introduces background,the research significance,research methods,the selection and definition of object,and summarizes the research present situation and academic achievements.The paper determines classified standard of cultural words referred to experts.The author summarizes the distribution and characteristics of cultural words in the two teaching materials through quantitative statistics,type statistics,occurrence frequency of language statistics,co-selected words of statistics.Secondly,the author mostly analyse six translation and explanation methods,which concludes that there are three major problems:single translation and explanation methods,incomplete and inaccurate translation and explanation,and the author put forward some suggestions.Then the author try to raise some writing principles and suggestions of cultural words On the basis of the previous research.Finally,the paper discusses the countermeasures and methods of cultural words teaching,and puts forward relevant teaching suggestions,hoping to provide some references for cultural words and phrases of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
