A Research On The Kinship Terms Of Guangshui Dialect In Hubei Province

The system of kinship terms is an important part of lexical system.It is a relatively closed vocabulary system,having a high the characteristics of high frequency of usage with stability.Kinship terms reflect a certain social culture,including traditional patriarchal clan system,kinship system,marriage system and ethics.Meanwhile,the study of dialect kinship terms helps to study the vocabulary and speech in dialect.On the basis of field investigation,combined with the existing literature research,comprehensive description method,survey method,comparative method,synchronic and diachronic methods,this paper to use the status quo and characteristics of detailed description and analysis of Guangshui dialect kinship system,and tries to uncover profound cultural connotation,contained in the system of kinship terms,as well as the similarities and differences of Guangshui dialect and Anhui dialect of Ningguo Hubei.In this way,understanding of the changes of kinship in Guangshui dialect can be attained and future trend of development can be forcast.In addition to the conclusion,the full text is divided into 6 chapters.In the first chapter,the introduction part mainly introduces the geographical population,historical evolution and dialect of Guangshui,as well as the content and significance of the study,the research methods and the research status of kinship appellations.The second chapter mainly summarizes the related concepts and classification of kinship appellations,and divides the relatives of Guangshui into the paternal appellation,the matriarchal appellation,the family name and the four category of the wife title,and divides the ancestors,the fathers,the generations,the sons and grandchildren in five grades,in order to formulate the form of the kinship appellation system in Guangshui dialect.The third chapter analyzes the composition of the kinship appellations in Guangshui dialect from the elements of word formation and the form of composition,and analyzes its use characteristics from the angle of variable reading,isomerism and isomorphism,from his appellation and joint name.The fourth chapter proceeds the use of Guangshui parents,grandparents Appellation from the historical perspective of linguistics,holding the opinion that these kinship terms have generated new branch with old schod and new schod and the latter,has the trend of mandarin.The fifth chapter analyzes the cultural connotation reflected in the Guangshui kinship,mainly including the traditional concept of marriage family system and patriarchal ethics and patriarchal.The sixth chapter deems that,Guangshui dialect is originated from Anhui Ningguo Hubei dialect because of the immigration factors at the end of Qing(清)Dynasty.Therefore,this paper employs this chapter to compare the appllatrons of the two varrous places in order to better grap the trend of kinship terms in Guangshui dialect The research deems that,most of the appellations of Guangshui dialect has not change much weith few have altered.Although the stability of Chinese kinship appellation system is relatively strong,it is found in this paper that most of the Guangshui dialect is not changed.However,due to the development in recent decades and the influence of Mandarin and strong dialect,a relatively systematic new family appellation has appeared,and it has a tendency of simplification and Putonghua.
