An Analysis Of The Creation And Performance Of "Three Piano Preludes" By Shuai Zhang

The continuous creation and exploration by Chinese composer have promoted the prosperity and development of the piano art,and it has undergone major changes from weak and strong.In this process,a number of piano works with exemplary significance have emerged,while one of them was the "Three Piano Preludes" by Chinese young composer Shuang Zhang in 1998 was the one.This work was not only the prize-winning one of the 2nd China Music Golden Bell Award in 2002,but was determined as a must-read track by the 2007 China Music Golden Bell Prize Piano Competition Organizing Committee.It is a model works of modern Chinese music,so it has a very high artistic achievement and research value.In this paper,the author conducts research and analysis from the musical structure,application of pentatonic scale in creation and the performance techniques and aesthetic significance,with the combination of my own performance practice,hoping to provide some meaningful help and advice to those who will perform the works in the future.
