| The directional complement plays an important role in Chinese.It’s very common in Chinese.the semantic expression of it is very rich,and the usage of it is also abstract.Therefore,it not only becomes a difficult point in learning for foreign students,but also becomes an important point in teaching for the Chinese teacher.This paper takes directional complement “xialai”and “xiaqu” as examples,to examine the specific usage of foreign students through questionnaire tests,and analyzes factors that affect foreign students acquiring the directional complement “xialai” and “xiaqu”.We can find that the textbook has negative influence on the foreign students when they are learning the directional complement “xialai” and “xiaqu”.At the same time,we can find other factors affecting the acquisition of them.From these analyses,we can put forward some practical suggestions on teaching materials and teaching.This essay is divided into six chapters to study the directional complement “xialai”and “xiaqu”: the first chapter outlines the research status of the directional complement and the directional complements “xialai” and “xiaqu”.The second chapter,on the basis of previous studies,classifies the directional complements “xialai” and “xiaqu” from their semantics and structure.The third chapter,explains the design and investigation process of questionnaire test,and then analyzes the survey results from the acquisition of semantics and structure of directional complement “xialai” and “xiaqu”.The fourth chapter,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching materials that has influence on foreign students to acquire directional complement “xialai” and “xiaqu”,at the same time,analyzes other factors that influence the foreign students’ acquisition of the directional complement “xialai” and “xiaqu”.The sixth chapter,according to the study of the directional complement “xialai” and “xiaqu”,and the analysis of the reasons that influence the foreign students to acquire them,this chapter will givespecific suggestions about the teaching materials and teachers. |
