| The study is focused on Kazakhstan overseas students from Xinjiang universities, whom contacting the Chinese language media. This study use media audience talk, questionnaire survey to get the first-hand information investigate the Chinese grasping situation and Chinese media contacting current situation, get the influence from the Chinese media contacting to overseas students Chinese learning. Combining the survey results, making the related advise to the problems existing in overseas students second language learning.This study consists of four parts:the first part mainly elaborate the study origin,the purpose, meaning, research methods and innovation point. In order to offer basic material and datas. The sceond part mainly discuss Chinese media contacting influence to overseas students Chinese learning, based on the relation among questionnaire survey data, media contacting situation, contacting purpose,contacting content and Chinese learning experience, gender, HSK level, and schooling. Third part mainly elaborate the basic background and language skills from Xinjiang universities Kazakhstan overseas students. Fourth part mainly combine the shortages on media knowledge and desire of teaching efficiency, giving some advice and actions.Study conclusions:(1)From the interview in 150 subjects, for contacting Chinese media frequency, cellphone and network takes first, broadcast and newspaper takes lowest. By the gender,girls broadcasting media contacting frequency higher than boys’; Girls are more interested in media fashion and joke stories than boys’. By the school,Xinjiang university of finance and economy broadcasting frequency is the highest, they are closely contacting fashion, finance, law; Xinjiang university are more contacting news and story. By HSK level, HSK level four are more contacting media fashion and Chinese media; HSK level six are more contacting major. By schooling, undergraduate student higher than graduate student in Chinese broadcast contacting. They are more contacting media fashion.(2)According to the mastery degree, 90% testers could know daily Chinese, few disabled; 80% testers could have daily communication, few disabled 75.3%; 70.6% testers could write short articles, 25.3% testers could write simple message; Judged by gender, schoolgirls better than schoolboys. HSK high level testers’ Chinese grasping degree higher than HSK low level tester’s; High-level schooling is higher than low schooling testers.(3)All the testers think contacting Chinese media, which do great help for Chinese listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary.(4)More testers do not adapt to current course and content, hope to improve Chinese skill by the way of singing songs and reading Chinese movies and books.Study reveals, overseas students Chinese contacting has the direct relation to Chinese skill, therefore, in order to perfect Chinese teaching, writer has below suggestions and actions:(1)Introduce media content in overseas courses. Students use 3 minutes to read their favorite Chinese newspaper, magazine and books, take notes on good sentences and good words when intensive reading class begins. During extensive Reading, students use 3 minutes to read Chinese newspaper, magazine and extracurricular books. This is one of the standard of translation qualified.After investigate 3 colleges, there is no translation courses. The investigation reveals that Chinese movies do good to overseas student listening, reading and writing ability, even good to vocabulary and grammar knowledge. But It is a pity that 3 colleges do not open the movie class.(2)Add translation and movie appreciation, many graduates like to work on translation job, especially Kazakhstan exchange rate continue drop down in 2015,many graduates choose to work In Xinjiang, how to translate terminology and long difficult sentence properly.(3)Extracurricular reading facilities students freedom study, based on data, reading Chinese press extracurricular books after school respectively occupy 76%, 66.7%. Testers think those study directly helpful to writing ability improvement,vacabulary and grammar.Three universities do not open extracurricular reading, if they have this kind of convenience, which is not only can stimulate the contacting interests, but improve the Chinese level.(4)Teacher guidance, motivate interest in taking part in contacting Chinese media, encouraging students to listen more Chinese songs, broadcasting, and read more Chinese magazine, books, Chinese movie and television play, and improve the Chinese skills. |
