Guo Qingfan was famous as the author of Zhuangzi Jishi(????),at the same time,he also was an excellent Chinese traditional researcher.Shouwen Jingzi Zhengyi(????????)is a book which is based on the Shuowen Jiezi(????)and make the explanation of that time spread eleven Confucian classics he thinks what wrong words.This book had strict style and gotten rich material,included 218 words.Although he was limited by Shuowen(????),he also had his own opinions.Theses were still a contribution to the traditional Chinese exegesis study.This paper based on the read carefully of Zhengyi(????),fall into four chapters.At the first is an introduction that introduces the origin of the topic,the situation about Shuowen Jiezi what cited Confucian classics and what research methods this paper adopts.These are explained in order to understand the value of the content of the book and the position of Zhengyi in the academic field.Chapter one is the overview of Guo Qingfan and his writings.By the introduced of his life story and his academic works especially achievements in the field of Shuowen Jiezi's research.These will help us understand Zhengyi's position in Guo Qingfan's life.The second chapter analysis Zhengyi's style and content to help to understand the arrangement and the annotation of this book.We studied on the method of this book which used explained Zhengyi and analyze the concrete method which Guo Qingfan ues in this book.In the third part,we also defined the Jingzi(??)and Zhengyi's(??)concept.In the end we attempted to summarize Guo's philology thought which appear in Zhengyi.The last chapter discusses the achievements and limitations of Zhengyi and makes an evaluation of the book.
