Ancient India civilization is an important element in the process of world multi civilization,and it is also one of the most influential civilizations in the world.It has a profound impact on South Asia,Southeast Asia and even the world.Therefore,it is self-evident that the study of ancient India civilization is of practical significance.Indus Valley civilization also known as the Indus Valley civilization and Harappa civilization,it is also the earliest known city culture in India subcontinent,the history of civilization can not be ignored.The first half of this paper is the organization,synthesis and evaluation of published materials.The concept of civilization in the Indus Valley is defined and explained in detail.Then,described by the progress of archaeological excavations and found materials such as the research on the main,discussed the Indus Valley stage and the evolution of civilization.The second half part according to Morgan,Engels' s social history theory and Marx theory of the origin of the state of India river basin can prove the origin of prehistoric civilization based on.The origin of civilization in the Indus Valley is demonstrated respectively from the aspects of productivity,religion,writing and class formation.Finally,the reasons for the decline of the civilization of the Indus Valley are discussed and the relevant mainstream theories are demonstrated.At the same time,it compares it with the prehistoric society of China and Mesopotamia,and draws the conclusion of the final research.The study of the origin of civilization is also one of the important subjects of historical research.The origin of human,the origin of agriculture and the origin of the state are three important strategic research topics,and they are the common concerns of the World Archaeological community.The early civilization of the Indus valley has experienced four stages.The first stage: in 7500~3300 BC,the civilization elements bud stage,this period began the development of productive forces,the status of women is higher than men;the second stage: in 3300~2600 BC,the civilization elements produce stage,the Indus Valley during this period began to enter the city in early stage;the third stage: in2600~1900 BC,the early state in this stage,the productivity of Indus Valley during theperiod of rapid development,the early state formation;the fourth stage: in 1900~1300BC,the civilization decline stage,Indus Valley civilization,powerful prehistoric civilization rapidly collapse,reason has a mystery.In this paper,the organization,synthesis and evaluation of published materials are made,and the concept of civilization in the Indus valley is clearly defined and explained in detail.Then,described by the progress of archaeological excavations and found materials such as the research on the main cities,discussed the Indus valley stage and the evolution of civilization.
