With the deepening of scientific and technological communication at home and abroad, people's emphasis on science and technology continues to increase. In this context, strengthening the translation of scientific and technological texts is conducive to the exchange of technology information among countries. The text Russian Nuclear Power mainly talks about the convenience brought about by nuclear energy in production and life, and the threat that nuclear pollution poses in life.As a popular science text, the target readers of Russian Nuclear Power are not only professional researchers but also some general readers. Therefore,in the process of translation, translators should select appropriate translation methods so that the translation can be accepted by readers and thus the purpose of translation is achieved. Therefore, from the perspective of Text Standardization, this thesis selects translations of some chapters in Russian Nuclear Power as an entry point, and discusses the translation method of implicit causality in English for science and technology. In the technological text selected in this thesis, there are many conjunction which are used in this article, and the logic relationship is complex. It is necessary to sort them out.By analysing the text,we can more clearly understand the translation of science and technology English. This thesis tries to summarize and explore translation strategies and methods for science and technology texts.Based on Russian Nuclear Power, this translation practice report explores the translation of implicit causality in scientific and technical texts under the guidance of Text Standardization. This thesis is divided into five parts. The first part briefly introduces the status and role of scientific and technical texts in daily life, briefly introduces the background and structure of the report;the second part discusses the problems that arise in the process of translation;the third part describes the influence of convention on translation;the fourth part is the main part of the report, which explains the use of implicit cause-effect relationship in terms of words and sentences. In the actual translation process, some problems in the translation of implicit cause-effect relationship of scientific and technical texts are solved by means of translation methods such as linear translation, inversion and conversion. The fifth part summarizes the full text and points out its findings and shortcomings.
