FeiYouchang,the first-generation,moved from Guanfan to Henglin in 1351 in Yanshan county.FeiGuangcheng,the second-generation,built new cottage to lived with his mother.He was filial and kind-hearted.He was in business and became rich man in early of Ming dynasty.The FEI of the third and fourth generation still did the business and became big businessmen in Yanshan county.This was because the Henglin depended on the Ruikou town that was a busy commercial transportation hub.There is a strong performance in the local society.FeiYingqi was rich and paid attention to education of the children in order to participate in Imperial Examination.FeiYingqi had lay a solid foundation to change family class.The Fei rose and developed in the early and medium Ming dynasty,which reflects typically on confusion and treatment in the early Ming Dynasty and transformation process that the local forces become tyrannical gentry.Feixun,the elderest son of FeiYingqi,succeeded in the imperial examinations at the provincial level in 1453.FeiXuan passed the highest imperial examinations in1475.FeiXuan,the fifth-generation,began to succeed in Imperial Examination in the medium of Ming dynasty.But this had the one.FeiPan and FeiYu concentrated on family affairs.Next,one of the most talents was FeiHong.FeiHong and FeiRui had passed continuously in Imperial Examination at the provincial level since the fifth-generation,which was a glorious event for the FEI.FeiHong achieved champion in the imperial examinations with the help of family's numbers when he was only 20 years old.He became the youngest champion in the Ming dynasty.FeiMaoxian and FeiMaozhong,the seventh-generation,passed the examination in Beijing.The next was the FeiYaonian.The Fei took merchant family into the imperial family.The FEI transformed the business class for the Family of Imperial Examination.During Mingand Qing dynasties,the FEI began to actively compile genealogy,build ancestral hall,and formulate a series of rules of the clan,etc.The FEI participated widely and constantly in local activities,such as build schools,contribute money,compile local records,construct temple,and so on.The FEI did what they did to improve social status,and strive to the local influence and power.In the paper,the author focused on the Family Tree of FEI written in 1898 in order to investigate development and family construction.Through the case study of FEI family,the thesis want to reflect the interaction between the FEI family's transformation and the local society during Ming and Qing dynasties so as to deepen the understanding of local society in Yanshan County.
