Based on the Publicity Materials of Anhui Gujing Group,many different issues are analyzed in this practice report and some solutions are also put forward.Anhui Gujing Group Co.,Ltd,headquartered in Bozhou City of Anhui Province,stands as one of China's eight oldest famous liquor groups and ranks among China's top 500 manufacturing enterprises.This text is mainly about the company's profile,including the company's overall introduction,development history,cooperative companies and values.The purpose of the company profile is to introduce and promote the company's business scope as well as product categories,and it is expected to establish a good corporate image.And it hopes to attract consumers to purchase products,strengthen cooperation with relevant businesses,and promote the company to be a much stronger and global one.This source text has its own unique language features and expression features.The text contains a large number of characters with Chinese cultural features and unique language charm.In light of the use of words,it is prone to employ some expressive words to highlight and enrich the concepts of liquor products and enhance the appeal.When it comes to sentence structure,it pays much attention to the use of rhetorical techniques like parallelism to enhance tension and appeal.In this report,the translator mainly discusses two difficulties encountered in the course of translation,the translation of Chinese long sentences and passive sentences.In order to solve these two problems,the translator adopts four translation skills: division,inversion,amplification and conversion.After this translation practice,the translator gains a deeper understanding of the translation of the publicity materials and the problems required to be noticed.It is noticeable that combination of translation skills and translation practice is of great importance.It is hoped that the results brought by this translation practice will provide some help for other translators absorbed in the publicity materials.
