Research On Su Shi's Health Poetry

Su Shi is the typical representative of the highest achievement of the Northern Song literature in China.His poetries cover a wide range of topics,personal life experience,natural scenery,life philosophy are all involved.Health care poetry is an important part of it.He merges his medical knowledge,knowledge of philosophy,literary knowledge skillfully together,showing not only his high medical accomplishment,but also his free poetic style.The text is divided into five parts.The first part is a brief review of the development of traditional health care in China,and analyzes the reasons for the flourishing of health care culture in Song dynasty from the political,economic and cultural aspects.In the second part,the author discusses the reasons for forming Su Shi's concept of health care from the influence of the three thoughts: Confucianism,Buddhism and the Taoist school.Confucianism advocates an aggressive outlook on life and believes that if you want to realize your own value,you must have a good physical basis.Buddhism and Taoism provided a haven for the poets who were frustrated in their careers and suffered from displacement.In addition,Su Shi edifies sentiment and then achieves the longevity through the daily practice of painting and calligraphy.In the third part,Su Shi's poems on health care are collected statistically and classified into four categories: diet,conditioning,training and medicine.In the diet therapy class,the author expounds the relationship between diet and health from six aspects: congee food,vegetarian food,fruit,tea,wine,etc.In the conditioning class,the author sums up Su Shi's health wisdom in daily activities from five aspects: mentality,exercise,literature and art,taboo,etc.In addition,Su Shi is good at Qigong and very familiar with the medicinal properties and efficacy of common Chinese herbs.The fourth part analyzes the artistic characteristics of his health poems from aesthetics,rhetoric and genres.Su Shi is very talented and good at using allusions and metaphors.His health poems have a strong literary atmosphere,The overall style is fresh,plain and innovative.Su Shi's poetry has a wide range of genres.The fifth part summarizes the value and limitation of Su Shi's health poems.Su Shi colors the secular topic,expands and enriches the scope of poetry.These healthpoems contain the love and pursuit of life in the poet's nature.Also inspiraring the future generations.
