This paper devotes to making sure the core thoughts about Ji Kang’s theories of Yue.For many years, which group Ji Kang belonging to is in a dispute. Some people said Ji kang is influenced by the "Taoist school",so he should be the representative of metaphysical. Some scholars like Lu Xun regard Ji Kang as confucian through and through. We choose thesries of Yue as an important point of view,to analyse the basis of Ji Kang’s ideas. The target of this paper is intensive reading of the text, analyzing Ji Kang’s theoties of Yue,and then contrast them with the confucian theories of Yue and the Taoist theories of Yue.In this way we can find the basis of Ji Kang’s theories of Yue.After the study of Ji Kang’s theories,we can find that aithough there are influences of Taoist theories of Yue,the basic of his theories about Yue is still Confucian,We will accomplish this conclusion according to following train of thoughts. The first part is the pre-existing data summarize. We simply state the representative paper and work according to three ideas:Taoist,Confucian and the integration of both of them.We find that although people have already discuss the Ji Kang’s theories a lot of times, there is hardly any paper or work which carefully studies the original text of Ji Kang’s theories and ideas of Yue.The second part are the simple anylises and progresses of the pre-Qin Taoist and Confucian theories of Yue,according to the complilation of data and the original text of pre-Qin classical works,in order to provise talking points in the next analyses of Ji Kang’s theories of Yue.As Dong Zhongshu base the theories of Confucian as the most important theories in Han Dynasty, the classical works of Confucian theories are mostly written during pre-Qin and the initial stage of Han Dynasty. The classical works of Taoist is also mostly written in pre-Qin.So I analyse the theories mostly based on the pre-Qin classical works.I settles the Confucian theories of Yue in the clue of the time and the important persons.I settles the Taoist theories of Yue in the points of view relating to the "Tao" which is the base of the Taoist theories. The third part is the main body of this paper, analyzing Ji Kang’s basic theories of Yue.Firstly I discuss the standards of "he",which is the origin of Ji Kang’s theories of Yue,and then contrasting them with the Confucian theories of he Yue and the Taoist theories of he Yue.Secondly I discuss the physical form of "Yue",which is dependent with the human mind. This is the most important part and most important innovated part of Ji Kang’s theories of Yue.And then I discuss the influences of "Yue" on both the society and the independent person, which is the foothold of Ji Kang’s theories of "Yue".After this part,we can find that although Taoist theories have great influences on Ji Kang, his theories of Yue are still based on the Confucian theories of Yue.The fourth part of this paper analyses the reasons why Ji Kang’s theories of Yue are still based on the Confucian theories of Yue while Taoist theories have great influences on him.I talked about this problem in two parts. The first part analyses Ji Kang’s experiences, character and his era.We can find that Ji Kang live in a dangerous society, but he didn’t make himself safe nor drag out an ignoble existence. He chose a brave way to sacrifice himself but live forever. The second part pays attention to the development of Confucian theories of Yue,especially the problems of Confucian theories of Yue before Ji Kang.In Han Dynasty, the Confucian theories of Yue are becoming mystic. Some scholars as Ji Kang are trying to change this situation. Then I simply analyse the influences of Ji Kang’s theories of Yue on the following times. After the analysing,we can find that Ji Kang’s basic theories of Yue is Confucian. The Taoist theories provided some ideas and methods, but Ji Kang’s theories of Yue are still Confucian.
