Study On The Non-interrogative Sentence Pattern Of "Who Makes+NP+VP"

"Who makes+NP+VP",the non-interrogative sentence pattern,is a kind of frequently used sentence pattern in modern Chinese spoken language.Substantial researches on the referential nature of "who" in the "who makes+NP+VP" sentence pattern,the nature of the "who makes+NP+VP",the composition of NP and VP in the "who makes+NP+VP" sentence pattern and the semantics expressed by the whole sentence have been carried out by the predecessors,but there are still shortcomings.On the basis of a large number of corpus,this paper carries out rather sufficient research on the composition of NP and VP in the "who makes+NP+VP" sentence pattern,the nature of VP and semantics of the non-interrogative "who makes+NP+VP" sentence pattern.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper mainly consists of three chapters.The first chapter starts with the internal structure of the non-interrogative "who makes+NP+VP" sentence pattern and carries out the detailed analysis of the composition of NP and VP in the "who makes+NP+VP" sentence pattern.Among them,the NP is mainly composed of seven forms: noun,personal pronoun,virtual personal pronoun + noun,appositive phrase,attribute-head phrase,"de" phrase and zero form.In terms of the VP,there are forms of the simple sentence,the complex sentence and zero form.The simple sentence includes four forms: the core predicate is a verb;the core predicate is an adjective;fixed phrases and proverbs;and composite form.The second chapter discussed the nature of VP in detail from the perspective of the overall meaning of VP in the non interrogative "who makes +NP+VP".According to the overall meaning expressed by VP,the properties of VP can be divided into eight categories: action,identity,describing the characteristics of a person,attributes of an object,existence,psychological intention,violation of facts and objective rules.The third chapter mainly discusses the semantic types expressed and the methods of judgment of "who makes+NP+VP" sentence pattern.In terms of the generalized category,the "who makes+NP+VP" sentence pattern can mainly express the meaning of negation,reproach and explanation.Among them,the semantics of explanation can also be attached with complex semantics such as frustration,responsibility,self-pity,serving sb.right,as it should be,most willing to,etc.There are three main methods for judging the semantic types of "who makes+NP+VP" sentence pattern: first,making judgement based on the nature of VP;second,making judgement according to the context;third,making judgement based on the signs before and after the "who makes+NP+VP" sentence pattern.
