Abstract/Summary:
Chen Shou’s the Records of Three Kingdoms is another biographical history book after Bangu’s Hanshu,which mainly records the history of Wei,Shu,Wu.The Notes of the three Kingdoms,written by Pei Songzhi,is a great article which making up the short-comings of the original work,The Records of Three Kingdoms,and is no less valuable than Chen’s.The Records of Three Kingdoms continues the tradition of ancient Chinese historical books quoting poems,collectes some poetry documents from the late Han Dynasty to the early in Dynasty about 100 years.The studies of The Records of Three Kingdoms and Pei’s annotated and quoted poetry literature are important to understand the development of Confucian classics in the Wei and Jin dynasties,the inheritance of poetry education and the tradition of poetry introduction by historians.It is an indispensable link in the process of studying the ancient Chinese historical books and introducing poems.This paper is divided into three parts:introduction,text and conclusion,the text includes five chapters.The first and second chapters classify the notes and quotations of Chen and Pei.According to the state of poetry development in Wei and Jin dynasties,these two chapters divide the Records of Three Kingdoms and Pei’s notes and citations into three parts:the Book of Songs,the collection of literati Poems,the Quote Songs.By analysis of materials,charts,datas,these two chapters outline and make a further discussion of these three parts.The third chapter makes a comparison between the Records of Three Kingdoms and the Records of the Grand Historian,analyzes the characteristics of the Records of Three Kingdoms and Pei’s notes.Combination with the cultural background of Wei and Jin dynasties,this chapter probes into the historical reasons of Chen’s and Pei’s annotated and quoted poems,discusses the important historical events reflected in the Records of Three Kingdoms and Pei’s notes,and the characteristics of how to quote the Book of songs to evaluate historical figures,events,and reviewing history by literary historians in Wei and Jin dynasties.The fourth chapter discusses the difference between the Records of Three Kingdoms and Pei’s notes and the reasons for the difference,based on the analysis of the notes of Chen Shou and Pei Songzhi.The fifth chapter discusses the social influence of the Book of songs in the late Han Dynasty by combing and analyzing the Records of Three Kingdoms and Pei’s notes.In addition,in order to better understand the political outlook of the Three Kingdoms,we further analyse the poetry quoted by the Minister of Wu and Shu in the diplomatic situations of the two countries,involving the orthodox dispute over Wu Shu.
