Study On The Land Economics Thought And Practice Of Xiao Zheng (1931-1945)

In the first half of the 20 th century,the land issue in China was very serious.Especially in the 1940 s,the contradiction between man and land was sharpened.Both the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and various social groups have put forward many solutions to try to implement land reforms and change unreasonable land systems.Among them,Xiao Yu and the land administration society led by him and his land economy thoughts and their practice of land reform deserve attention.Xiao Yu is a well-known expert on land issues in China.He is also an advocate and organizer of land economics research and land administration education.Its economic thinking and reform measures have had an important impact on the formulation of the Kuomintang's land policy and made significant contributions to the KMT's land reforms in Taiwan after 1949.At present,there are few studies on Xiao Yu's economic thought.This article attempts to analyze and discuss the content and practice of Xiao Yu's economic thought.By comparing the differences between Xiao Xie's land ideas and other major land ideas in the same period,the characteristics and significance of Xiao Yu's land thought and practice are reviewed.This article mainly studies Xiao Yu economic thought and practice from four parts.The first is the background of Xiao Yu's economic thoughts,which mainly introduces the theoretical sources,personal experiences of Xiao Yu's economic thoughts,and the current economic situation in rural areas.This is followed by the content of Xiao Yu's economic thought,including his interpretation of the idea of the average land rights,the development of the cultivator's ideological field,and the discussion of China's land and population issues.Once again,Xiao Yu's practice of economic thinking in the 1930 s and 1940 s included the establishment of a land bank,participation in the development of the Northwest Association,and the Agrarian Reform Association.These practices are a reflection of Xiao Yu's economic thinking.Finally,it is an evaluation of Xiao Xie's economic thoughts.By comparing the differences between Xiao Yu's and land thoughts in the same period,the historical position and practical significance of Xiao Yu's land thoughts.
