Analysis Of Translation Of Parenthesis In Marxisms In The Twenty-first Century(excerpt)

Marxism has brought a tremendous impact on the development of human society since published,completely changing the pattern of the world and pointing out the direction of human’s development.As one of the ideological guidelines of the Communist Party of China,Marxism has incomparable lofty status.Consequently,it is profoundly significant to study the theory of Marxism and its development.The Marxist movement in Africa made a great contribution to the theory of Marxism,which was the socialist attempt of Marxism in the colony.This report concentrates on the translation of Chapter 8 of the book Marxisms in the Twenty-first Century.The first part mainly expounds the lexical and syntactic features of Marxist text.There are many uncommon names and places and a variety of mixed languages in the text.Besides,the text is mainly constituted of long sentences with parenthesis.The second part provides translation strategies based on the difficulties involved in the whole process,such as the parenthesis in complex sentences.Conclusively,the third part puts forward suggestions for translating similar texts and limitations of the report are summarized as well in this part.
