| As one of the generations of contemporary writer,Mao Dun occupies an important position in the history of literature."Mao Dun Literature Award" named after him is the official highest award,attracting attention and having far-reaching impact.He has been advocating,exploring and pursuing the "realism" of the Chinese form.Initially advocate"realism" and "for life";then explore realism in the creation and theoretical level of revolutionary;finally clearly call the realism in mind in the fact of realism in trouble.The insistence of "Old-aged Mao Dun" on realism presents a more complex face because of constraints on the identity and status and changes in the context of the times.This paper will regard the theory and creation about "old Mao Dun" as the object of study,with the fusion of new and old which is a relatively new cut into the angle,aiming to have a more clear understanding of his realism in this period.In the introduction,the origin and significance of the topic are introduced first,then introduce and evaluate the research situation of Mao Dun,and finally put forward the research ideas and methods.The first chapter will sort out the process of realism about Mao Dun from the perspective of theory and creation."Young Mao Dun" is known for its theory,and advocates realism;"Middle-aged Mao Dun" explores realism at the theoretical and creative level;"Old-aged Mao Dun" calls for realism in the context of revolutionary,and was mainly engaged in theoretical work,whose creation is in a state of being obscured,with the cultural officials literary behind their potential life.The second chapter will make a detailed explanation about the realism in the theoretical level of " Old-aged Mao Dun," mainly from the "night read occasionally-on the socialist realism and others","on the history and historical drama-make comments from the" hardship" and other scripts and his comments on different writer works.In addition to cater to the official mainstream,Mao Dun also has his own reflection and insight,trying to make realism overflow the norms of the revolution,with the purpose of maintaining its rich and varied face.The third chapter will elaborate the realism of "Old-aged Mao Dun," under revolutionary norms at the creation level from the aspects of the old poems and the"Frosty leaves like red flowers ".In the case of the old style poems,the poems of the "New platform body "are compatible with the revolutionary orthodoxy,and the poems of expressing their personal feelings and life experiences and reflecting the political and history are precious by respecting the truth of human nature and the law of art.As for the analysis of "frosty red like February flower",we focus on the following three aspects:the motivation to continue to write;the political and cultural reflection in the change of the character image and the daily life narrative based on private families.In this analysis,we not only try to show that Mao Dun respects for the characteristics of literature except for catering to official mainstream,but also intend to show that Mao Dun’s reflection and breakthrough about the realism under revolutionary norms.The conclusion part will make a new interpretation of the realism of "Mao Dun"from integration of the old and new levels.Social and literary reality not only affect the new level of literature,and the old literature is also affected by it,with the new literature together reflecting Mao Dun ’s departure from the realism under revolutionary norms to some extend."Old-aged Mao Dun" call for realism on the implicit,which has a very close relationship with its previous literary ideas,the context of the times and his identity and status. |
